DNKa Top Aqua Effect is a decorative top coat designed to create water drop effects, waves and fluid water-inspired nail art quickly and easily. The product spreads across the surface to form an irregular pattern on its own, eliminating the need to draw every droplet or detail by hand.

Unlike a conventional finishing top coat, DNKa Top Aqua Effect is applied over a DNKa Top that has already been cured. Apply a thin layer while the surface is still warm and allow the product a few seconds to spread and develop its characteristic water effect.

The final design can be easily adjusted during application. The amount of product, layer thickness, direction and angle of the brush strokes, as well as the time before curing, all influence the result. This makes it possible to create anything from soft, delicate water patterns to more defined drops and waves.

The speed at which the effect develops also depends on the top coat used underneath. With DNKa No Wipe Top No UV, the effect develops faster. With DNKa Multi No Wipe Top, the product spreads more slowly, giving the nail technician more time to control the design or work on several nails at once. When using DNKa Cover Top, the spreading time may vary depending on the selected shade.

How to use

Complete the nail coating using your chosen gel polish or gel system.
Apply the selected DNKa Top over the entire nail surface.
Cure the top coat in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 180 seconds.
While the cured top coat is still warm, apply a thin layer of DNKa Top Aqua Effect using free brush strokes.
Allow the product to spread for at least 5 seconds. Leave it longer if required to achieve the desired effect.
Once the desired pattern has formed, cure DNKa Top Aqua Effect in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 180 seconds.
