Its lighter, more fluid texture allows the gel to spread smoothly across the nail plate, making it easier to level the surface and build the desired nail structure. DNKa Builder Gel Light is particularly suitable for nail technicians who prefer working with less dense products while maintaining the strength of a traditional builder gel.

One of its key features is the balance between strength and flexibility, depending on the thickness of the application. At approximately 1 mm, the gel provides the rigidity needed for a strong nail structure. When applied in thinner layers, it retains the flexibility required for strengthening natural nails. How to use

Nail preparation

• Remove any previous product, prepare the natural nail plate, gently buff the surface and complete the manicure.
• Apply DNKa Dehydrator and DNKa Ultrabond to improve adhesion.
• Apply a thin layer of DNKa Rubber Base, Multi Base, Low Acid Base or Fiber Base as an adhesion layer. Cure in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 30 seconds / 36 W — 60 seconds.

Natural nail strengthening

• Apply DNKa Builder Gel Light over the previously cured base layer.
• Distribute the gel evenly, level the nail surface and build the desired nail structure.
• Cure in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 240 seconds.
• Remove the sticky dispersion layer using DNKa Nail Prep & Cleanser 3 in 1.
• File and refine the nail shape if necessary.
• Finish with your chosen DNKa Top and cure in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 180 seconds.

Nail sculpting and extensions

• After preparing the natural nail and applying the adhesion base, correctly position a lower nail form or dual form.
• Apply DNKa Builder Gel Light and build the extension to the desired length and shape.
• Cure in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 240 seconds.
• Remove the form, refine the nail structure if required and cure again for the same amount of time.
• Remove the sticky dispersion layer using DNKa Nail Prep & Cleanser 3 in 1.
• File and refine the shape if necessary, then apply your chosen DNKa Top.
• Cure the top coat in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 180 seconds.

Removal

Remove by filing with an e-file or a hand file, using the appropriate technique.
