Its self-levelling properties help create a smooth, even surface while reducing the amount of filing required. The texture also allows nail technicians to work on several nails at once, helping to save time during treatments.

Once cured, DNKa Builder Gel Mousse provides the rigidity needed for strong nail structures, even on long extensions, while retaining some flexibility in thinner layers. It is suitable for natural nail strengthening and extensions using lower nail forms or dual forms.

The collection is available in a range of shades, including clear. As a three-phase builder gel, it requires an adhesion base and a finishing top coat.

How to use

Nail preparation

• Remove any previous product, prepare the natural nail plate, gently buff the surface and complete the manicure.
• Apply DNKa Dehydrator and DNKa Ultrabond to improve adhesion.
• Apply a thin layer of DNKa base coat as an adhesion layer. DNKa Multi Base or DNKa Fiber Base is recommended.
• Cure the base in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 30 seconds / 36 W — 60 seconds.

Nail sculpting and extensions

• Position a lower nail form or dual form correctly, depending on the chosen extension technique.
• Apply DNKa Builder Gel Mousse and build the desired nail length and structure.
• Work the gel with a brush until the desired shape is achieved.
• Cure in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 240 seconds.
• Remove the form, refine the nail structure if necessary and cure again for the same amount of time.
• Remove the sticky dispersion layer using DNKa Nail Prep & Cleanser 3 in 1.
• File and refine the nail shape if required.
• Finish with your chosen DNKa Top and cure in an LED/UV lamp: 48 W — 120 seconds / 36 W — 180 seconds.

Professional tip

If the gel has been stored for a long period or its texture has become uneven, gently stir the product before use to restore a uniform consistency.

Removal

Remove by filing with an e-file or hand file using the appropriate technique.
